The capital of Bulgaria grows in works and projects, and in a couple of years a new multifunctional complex will be added: Grand Canyon.
The new real estate development promises to change the image of the Mladost District and add many services to the place, such as shopping center, hotel, offices, restaurants and much more.
Grand Canyon was designed by the Turkish company Garanti Koza, who has also developed projects in Russia, Dubai, Turkey and other countries.

This project, which will be unique in Bulgaria and the European Union, will cover 91,882 square meters covered in 6 buildings, also with a park and modern decoration.
The Grand Canyon buildings are named after Bulgarian mountains and are distributed as follows:
- Vitosha: Residential building with 19 floors.
- Pirin: Residential building with 22 floors.
- Strandzha: Residential building with 16 floors.
- Rodopi: Residential building with 21 floors.
- Stara Planina: Residential building with 19 floors.
- Rila: Swissôtel 5-stars hotel and residential, of 30 floors.

The highest building of the complex, the “Rila”, of 30 floors, will be occupied by the 5 star hotel Swissôtel between floors 1 and 17. While the floor 17 to 30 will be allocated to residential apartments that, if the owners wish, they can have the services of the hotel.
A modern shopping center will be included in the project: The Kanyon Trade Center, which will have multiple stores of recognized brands.
Some 20,000 square meters of parks complement the Grand Canyon complex.
The developers mention the location as another of the complex’s strengths. It will be located at the corner of Aleksandar Malinov and Andrey Lyapchev boulevards, a short distance from Sofia Airport and Sofia Business Park, with good access to public transport and excellent views of the Vitosha mountains.
Grand Canyon is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
