The World Rally Championship is preparing for a global calendar, with expected returns and races on five continents.
This year that begins will be very interesting in sports, and one of the most important events is the WRC Rally, which although it is held every year, in 2020 it will be a true global competition.
Some 14 competitions will be played for the first time on five continents. It happens that the rally returns to an African country since 2002, and since 1999 that Asia and Africa did not live together on a calenda
Three great returns will make this calendar unique: Japan with its stretches of asphalt on the final date in November; Kenya with its legendary safari Rally, famous for its hard dirt roads, which will be held in July, and New Zealand, which after 7 years again hosts car racing on the north island in September.
The rest of the WRC Rally 2020 calendar dates also promise a lot of action on the roads. It all starts on January 23 with the famous Monte Carlo rally, then move a little north to Sweden.
Then two successive competitions will take place on dirt roads, in Mexico and Argentina. The Chilean competition was canceled. While in the European spring rallies of Portugal and Italy will be played.
The second half of the year begins with the rally in Kenya, and then continues with Finland, New Zealand and Turkey. The last quarter of 2020 will witness asphalt tests in Germany, Great Britain, before finalizing on Japan’s routes.
